Sorry to say.... that Marty Bilecki had passed away last night. It is reported that Marty had died of a Heart attack during last night's gig.

Marty was a fun loving, hard working, easy-going guy that loved anything in regards to Audio. He will be missed by Friends and Family.

So sad.

I am so saddened to her this. I never met Marty, but he felt like an old friend. He has been hanging around the boards for a l-o-n-g time. My condolences to those close to Marty. Does anyone know how old Marty was?

He was in his early 50's Steve.

Very sorry to hear. His shop is very near mine. Never did a gig with him but I rented consoles from him. He was always a straight ahead guy. Positive attitude and direct to the point. Wish I had the chance to get to know him better. Condolences to the family.

Very sad to hear the passing of Marty. He seemed like a very stand-up guy that carried a lot of respect from everyone.

Agreed, this sucks. A name I knew instantly, and one of the "good guys."
