Was and is one of my drum heroes. Incredible hands and a very creative player. Not many like him.

One of the marks of a master of any craft is how easy they make "it" look, whatever "it" is.
Joe Morello could play more without breaking a sweat, or a stick, than many more demonstrative and "flashy" drummers.

Those crazy time signatures that he laid down with Brubeck proved him to be in a class by himself. He was a true legend.
