Rode M2 - comments?

A singer in a band I mix for just told me she got a Rode M2. I have not seen one before. I had been using a Senn e865 on her with great results.

What can I expect with the M2 (other than she will turn it off and wonder why it doesn't work)?

Flat response with a reduced proximity effect. Typical "narrow pattern" lobe at the rear of the mic affecting monitor placement. Probably just needs a quick wrap of electrical tape around the switch for safety.
