What I've seen published and advertised is an expected advertised 'street' price of $3,495 and with a S-1608 expander it looks like $4,995.  Plus the cost of Roland's ad-hoc wi-fi dongle or a WAP if you want wireless.  And while you can apparently operate it without an iPad, it seems rather onerous to do so and it really seems to depend on the iPad for typical live use.  So apparently probably around $3.5K to $4k for a practical 16 mic input system and $5k to $5.5k for a 32 mic input system.


I agree with Tim, an interesting option for those that already have an investment in other V-Mix components but I'm not sure how much market beyond that given some of the existing and likely upcoming competition that may be announced before its expected availability next year.
