Re: Sennheiser 3000 Wireless with rack - 8 channels! $4000 Incorrect, these are all programmed to operate below 700MHz which is legal. Maybe you misunderstood the last part of the post. For two of the channels you could have the Sennheiser factory re-block them to be above 700 but currently they are all set to legal frequencies for use in the US. They are currently programmed as 6x channels in the 584-607 MHz block and 2x channels in 674-698 MHz but if you want a different block of frequencies the units can be re-programmed at the factory to anything within the range of 550-698 for the first 6 units and 674-800 for the last 2. Sennheiser manufactured these in only 3 or 4 different hardware skus and would then tune each unit to operate within a 25MHz block somewhere within that range. The frequencies could be whatever you want within a 25MHz window within the units overall range. Make sense? Anyone who is curious about this I would encourage you to give Sennheiser USA a call (860-434-9190) and talk to a service tech about it. They can probably explain it better than I am here. Thanks! -Derek
