This seems like such a basic thing, but all of my millenial Google-Fu skills have failed me, are there sensitivity differences on the MKE2 line based on band color (ala Countryman B3/B6)?

I think the biggest difference is the frequency response based on the mic caps that are used. Should be able to pull up the spec sheet from the Sennheiser site. The Sennheiser site is not laid out real well but if you dig the info is there.
Yeah that was definitely the first place I checked. I couldn't find anything, but someone on Reddit found this link for me and I have no idea how they navigated to it or found it, but I'll post it here for anyone else who comes later looking for it:
