Re: Shure digital mics into x32 out to analogue IEM latency issues Any transfer along a serial interface will add at least one sample of latency, so the theoretical minimum latency for any link at 48 KHz will be around 25uS. In practice it will of course be a lot more than that, since there is always some buffering going on as well.
