Shure U2 transmitter display fault

Hi Folks, have a pair of Shure U2 radio transmitters with faulty displays. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and is it easily repaired? Cheers.

The LCD display is a plug in unit which is easily replaced. Having said that, it would be worth cleaning the pins of the faulty unit and re-seating it. I've done that to a couple of our older U2s and the faulty displays have come back to life.
