Hey there.
I'm a pro sound guy turned pastor. (long story)

I'm looking for a 16x4 100' snake on reel. Needs to be super sturdy and durable. Preferably made in Canada, as that's where I am and it makes shipping/customs much easier if I don't order from the USA. Budget is under $1k.

I'm replacing a Whirlwind Connect (their lower line) snake that we've had for two years, which we've had a lot of problems with, even though it was only used once a week and wrapped correctly consistently. (Yes, I broke my rule to never buy budget cables, etc..)

I've looked at Horizon, EWI, Rapco, and a company I just discovered called Cable Factory. (http://www.cablefactory.com/catalogue/CF-Catalogue-snakes.pdf)

Any recommendations? Has anyone heard of Cable Factory or used their stuff. Seems to be pretty solid.

Thanks so much!

Where are you in Canada? I have a Carvin 100' 16+ 4 that I no longer need on a reel. It has color coded groups of connectors. I am near Detroit.
