Snake - Tightening Male XLR Set Screws?

Hi everybody, and hope you are all well! I have an ancient Whirlwind Medusa snake (about 40 yeas old) with a box at each end that has worked flawlessly all these years. Some of the Male XLR jacks are now becoming loose, sometimes causing the whole jack to come out of it's socket when disconnecting it from it's female counterpart. 2 of the 3 rows (# 9 - 16 & 17 - 24) I've been able to tighten up the set screws with a small screw driver, but the 1st row (# 1 - 8) has very little room between the set screw and the wall of the snake box it faces. Other than taking out the rivets, tightening up the set screw and putting in new rivets, does anybody know of either a right angle or ratcheting screw driver or other contraption that would be small enough to allow me to get into that tiny space (about 1/2 an inch) between the set screw and the wall of the snake box to tighten up the set screw? Thanks!
