For $50k I'd like to see IRS... 550 HP with mustang weight distribution will mostly be a tire spinning exercise.
I'm still driving an old stang-cobra and the new v6 has as much HP as my old v8... sounds like time for a little more modern tune-up...

Sadly, this is the engine right before the 305hp v6 came out(I have a 2010). 210HP and 240 pounds of torque per foot. But it freaking moves like nothing I've ever driven before. 15,000 miles, full factory warranty still in tact, fully loaded interior, SYNC(which is awesome. I just press a button, she talks to me, I say a command and it happens), 500 watt sound-system and more. I'm planning on adding a Cold Air Intake and a aftermarket tuning to it, so it will be very close to what the 305hp mustangs are doing.
And yeah, I do feel like I'm turning 50. But, I'm only 23. Ha! The thing is, I already had a hefty car payment. I had to get a car in a pinch before an internship last year, and ended up with 13.5% financing. So I was asking myself, why in the world am I not putting this towards something I've always dreamed of? So for a wee bit more per month, I get the beast that I have now at about 4.5%. Much better.

I don't know about cold air package but I would probably upgrade to a K&N air filter, and I think there was some input baffling (to reduce input honk), that I just removed.

edit- speaking of cold air package, I recall one night with my old 1954 ford (with a bored out 312ci) I removed the heater blower from where it was mounted in the fender and connected some dryer duct between that air intake to the mouth of my stock air filter. There was no element in the stock air filter, and I left the top cover off, so I could also suck air in from the engine compartment, so it was mostly some extra cool air. But as i recall it ran pretty good, until the motor threw a connecting rod, that same night (coincidence). Somebody had stolen my tachometer, and I was clearly way above red line for the old Y-block ford, that was probably designed for a max 4500 RPM.
