So this is where all the sailors washed ashore from the shipwreck!

Hi guys.

Don't know why it took me so long to find the party. I just now discovered it googling for info on coaxial monitor designs I've been day dreaming about building.

Anyway glad I found this place and glad to see so many familiar faces!

I've been using the old LAB since the Compuserve days when I was a lowly bar guy slaving away over a Soundcraft 400B trying to make SP2's not suck and its nice to know you guys found new digs. I like what you've done with the place. Is the keg out back? Do I smell brats on the grill?

same here. was looking for a review for a midas pro 2 and immediately found some nice and long technical threads.

I'm blessed to live in "Beer City" where there's 8 breweries, a few more on the way and high end newer stores all over town. Franzaskaner is in pretty much every bar in town. I'll make a run for some Belgians. Chimney or Delerium Tremons?

Glad to see you here Marsellus. The signal to noise ratio is a lot better here (as are many other things, including the forum software!), such that I rarely find myself checking the other place anymore except for the marketplace occasionally.

No Koningshoeven left. Hamer got the last one. How bout a Corsendonk?

How can you not like Chimey anyway? It's like the bacon of beer!

There's a killer two story bar here with all Belgians on the bottom floor and all American craft brews on the top. Before it was that it was a great record store owned by Warren Hanes brother. I love this town.

Ha, ha - I LOVE me some beer even though I don't drink it - beer has been very very good to me this year...

Don't know how I missed the boat too...

It's weird, I was reading the PSW forums thinking that there hadn't been many interesting threads in the last few months so I decided to search for Bennett and see if he'd posted something that I had missed. Sure enough there was a post from May with a link over to here. I'm glad I found all of you again. I stayed up a couple hours later than I had planned last night just reading threads because there was actually some content of interest here.

Pat,

It is, indeed, the Echo Mountain dude's place and it's called The Lexington Avenue Brewery (LAB). I got my old EAW hang back in there now but it still sounds nice and sparkly. Drop in and see a show on me if you're ever up this way!

Thanks for the correction and yes nice avatar ;) I'm gonna start filling the rest of the slots up soon with spare channel cards. I'm thinking 44+6. Bring on the rookie indie rock acts with rookie BE's that want 28 channels for a medium sized club gig. 10 mics on the kit, mic+DI for everything, 7 vocals and two on the xylophone for half the middle eight in one song? Sure whatever. I'll pin it up and you can deal with it.
