Does anyone have any practical experience with this product? It was recently recommended to a friend of mine and I was wondering about its performance. It seems to be slightly higher but not significantly more expensive than the line 6.
The basic application would be for videoing weddings. The mic signal would be split between the recording and the local pa for sound reinforcement. My friend plans on using the lav pack during the vows and then the handheld later for toasts/speeches. As her primary function is videographer/photographer, she really needs a "turn on and go system".
The Sony was the recommended product during a recent instructional seminar she attended.
For my own use I would be more inclined to buy the line 6 which would allow us to cross rent and have backups available.
