I'm wondering if any of the dealers will be lowering the price of the Compacts to try and move them. I like the assignable inserts and would probably never need more the 40 channels of input processing so the Compact would work for me. I'm just not willing to pay almost double the price of a Expression for it.

Based on 30+ years observing Harman, my guess is you'll never buy a Compact for the price of an Expression. If price is the final factor in your decision, don't wait for a deep discount; buy the Expression.

Thanks Tim , your probably right and price is a factor for me. I was planning to demo an X32 next week but the Expression really caught my eye and the more I research it the more I like. I may just hold out on the X32 until I can get my hands on the Soundcraft.

Is expression replacing Si Compact?

I didn't think the Si Compact stuff was very old... I have never seen one in person though.....
