Acer Extensa (laptop) with a Roland Quad-Capture externa soundcard.
All I can say is that I've tried playing the same track on two computers (laptops. My girlfriends integrated soundcard) and different songs in different players.
I mix music in Adobe Audition CS 6 och I find this player to respond the clearest sound. After that I think VLC and then Foobar2000.
Like I said Playing av 44.1 kHz track with the settings on 48 kHz will for mer Not give a pleasent playback.
Tough playing av 48 kHz track on a 48 kHz "default format" setting gives me a smooth playback.
The same goes if the Bitrates are inequal on the track and in the setting of the soundcard.
I would hope that there shouldn't be a problem but it is.. my girfriend confirms that having the wrong settings makes the music (mostly Glitch Hop in .Flac quality - with the full spectra of frequenses left intact) sound strenuous, annoying, very tiring. But in the right setting the sound has good timing, is clean, smooth and exakt making it pleasant to listen to (if you like glitch hop that is 
Try it yourself. If you don’t find any at all change… what could be wrong? I appreciate your help!
