Mark here i have a soundcraft expression 2 that is out of warranty and it doesn't see the USB drive. I have only been using this mixer for band practice so it never goes out of the house. I never tried to save anything thus I didn't know the USB was screwed up. I just tried to install the latest software Rev and that is how I found the problem. I have an electronics degree and have extensive experience working on electronic boards. However, without a schematic it is pretty difficult tracing the circuit back to the problem. Does anyone know the general location of the USB circuitry on this board? I have found the first few resistors and caps, but then it goes to vias I can't find where it emerges. Ribbon cable is OK, light comes on the jump drive, I talked to a soundcraft tech who strongly suspects a damaged chip or inductor. Thanks
