Soundcraft si Expression 1 and iPAD Visi Remote EQ not linking

Last Sunday at my church I got my iPad linked up to our Soundcraft si Expression 1 through Visi Remote. The faders would all work for the mains and sends, etc. for all the channels but when I clicked on the "Processing Tab" above each channel on Visi Remote no matter what I did with the EQ/Gate/etc it wouldn't change anything on the soundboard. Again, I could only work the faders. Is there something I have missed? I'd like to fully control the board with my iPad from on stage while the Soundboard is in the audience. Also, a buddy of mine hooked his iPad up to the soundboard using visi remote as well and I'm wondering if that would be a factor as two iPads were linking to one board.
