Re: Soundcraft Si Impact What are your requirements (must have) ? What are your like to haves ? What is your budget range ? Soundcraft makes excellent hardware, but lag significantly behind others in software applications IMHO. I do not have the Impact, but I do have the Expression 3. It is a great mixer... I also now have a Behringer X32 Rack (I know.... I swore off ever owning a B products in the past) ... I had to purchase an X32R as stop gap measure to satisfy the performers who wanted certain features (like controlling their own mix without screwing up the main mix). It turns out that I am using the X32R more than the Expression 3 now.... This is due to the lack of quality and diversity in the user applications available for the Expression. As I have stated before, if Soundcraft developed improved in this area, I believe they would significantly improve their usability and sales ! Unfortunately, they have not placed a priority on resolving the software application issue and when they do promise new applications they far exceed their deadlines... All of that being said: If you are looking at the Impact, I would also consider the Expression or Performer. While these are more $$$, they have more features... it really depends upon your application! MikeG
