Soundcraft Si Performer 2

Hi All,

I have an issue with my Soundcraft P2, I have installed the latest software update as per the install instructions. However, the desk still keeps freezing and/or losing software during the show.

Is this a manufacturing fault or possibly something to do with the software??

Please help...

Hi Matthew,

Was the desk freezing before the software update?
Is it possible to go back to the previous generation of software?
If so, and the mixer works fine, then it is likely a software issue.
Or maybe there are issues with both versions of software...

Thank you for your reply, it is much appreciated.

The long and the short of it is that we have two desks and both have been upgraded to the latest software and only the one has been giving us problems. This desk is the master and the other the slave. The slave has not given us any issues.

However, I have been trying to resolve this issue and I think I have found the issue. I took the expansion card out(Blu Link Card) and reinserted it, powered up and monitored the functionality of the desk.

It seems to be running 100% now. I am still not sure what cause the issue, possibly a dry join?
