Alrighty, folks. In our (High School) auditorium, we don't really have a place for follow spots, but we usually end up putting them on these two cool little wheelchair spots in the back of the auditorium. Problem is this: those flat squares of concrete are about 2 feet higher than the level of the stage floor. Once you run the math for an 80-120 foot throw you end up with an angle of, oh... something like 3 degrees. My question is, for those of you who are familiar with them, what vertical angles are follow spots typically used at?
