If your disdain for IEC connectors means you're throwing out any box that has them, that's fine. Generally speaking you're now looking at more expensive and harder to find and have serviced options. I think the full line of FBT and RCF subs use Powercon, but am not certain. Subs from both brands that I own use them.Another brand to take a look at would be KV2.
