SSL MADIXtreme with Digico

I am trying to configure a 112ch recording PC with a SSL Madixtreme PCI card that needs to receive MADI from 2 Digico stageracks through 2 SSL coax-opti converters.
I have not had much luck in getting the Madixtreme to lock onto the MADI, although SSL states that the card is compatible with the specielt Digico MAID format that uses ch 57 for rack control.
Have anyone tried it with success?

It is primarily an SSL problem, i think. Digico tells me I can change the MADI out of the stageracks to clean 56 channels, but then the gaintracking and auto conforming does not work, so i'd rather not do that.
