Building a new patching system standard and have whittled down stage box multis to either Whirlwind W1 or AMP CPC, wanted to gather opinions here.

Overall, which cable do you prefer when averaging the following points (listed in order of importance from our perspective):

Durability
Ease/Cost of Maintenance
Cross Rental Availability
Cost

The cross-rental ability is going to be solely dependent on your area.

However, my vote is for CPC with the caveat that if you are rough on cables, get the metal backshells and strain reliefs from Entertainment Metals.

CPC is field serviceable, inexpensive, easy to assemble, and not soldered (although I'm sure you can). The crimp tool is a little expensive, but not as bad as something like the W4 tool kit.
