So the ignore button might not be enough. What are the possibilities of "Ban him now"?

Ok, maybe that is extreme but we all know what is coming. Please do not feed the troll:lol:

Re: Step up from the ignore button

I'm all for giving folks a chance to grok the vibe of the site and come around, but you're right on this one. With such an impressive record of trolldom I'd vote for a (pre-emptive) ban. Maybe a "ban him now" poll?????

Re: Step up from the ignore button

Without knowing who the subject of this is, I would say that the mods have all the power to ban whomever they choose (and I know it's been done on the "old" forum). I have used the Ignore button on people whose antagonism or other drivel I am sick of seeing, and it at least improves the signal-to-noise ratio from my perspective. Other members may not have had the same experience with those individuals, so they remain non-banned.

Not you John,

Just someone I tried to help, that others have tried to help. If he stays true to form, he is just looking for someone to agree with what he has already decided. The bad part is that apparently, over in the other building, he was doing this under multiple names from the same IP.

Re: Step up from the ignore button

Marlow's memory is as good as mine. Since he seems to have multiple personalities maybe we should just let him use whichever one he can validate with a credit card through the donate button. Then I can go back to privately ignoring what I know is about to happen.
