Stepped volume attenuator

I'm looking for a pre-made balanced line level stepped volume attenuator, something like this:

Goldpoint SA2X Balanced Stereo Level Control XLR | eBay

While that unit would fulfill all my needs, it's a bit pricey for something going into my home stereo system.

I've googled a lot about this, parts are available so I can build my own, but I'd like something pre made. I can spend a lot of time assembling and perfecting stuff at work, but I enjoy not doing it when I'm home.

Any suggestions?
