The only problems I've seen with these is that the tilt bracket is die-cast aluminum and IF it gets bent, you can't bend it back or it snaps. They are very strong and unlikely to bend however. Out of the twenty or so that I abuse on a regular basis, only one has snapped at the neck and 2-3 have lost the little wing-caps on the thumscrews.
