Re: Sub box construction question?In larger cabinets I have at least 1 x 1's along all butt joints for extra strength. Smaller cabinets and some large I'll use dado cuts in key areas. Not only do they increase the glue surface area they also help the cabinet kind of lock it self together.I primarly use screws.
