Re: Suitable "B" rig gear A "B" rig is the highest quality possible with the budget the customer has to work with. I am not sending out an iLive for a $200 bar gig. A "B" rig needs to be durable first and primary because as the event budget decreases, the risk to the gear increases. The selling point of the iLive to me is the mix and match capability of the mixrack and the surface. It also cuts the training costs for employees because all gear is similar. Having a stable of various surfaces and mixracks makes a lot of sense. As an aside, the band I work for primarily has been moving up the food chain. At a recent festival I got my first opportunity to drive an iLive T112 (having only run digital 01v96 and an LS9 before this.) After about 5 minutes of walkthrough from the A1 I was on my way and had an easy day. Wish I could buy into a lower version of that at a level I could afford. (Actually starting to think about it based on my experience with it.)
