Not sure if this should technically be in the marketplace or not. But, I'm looking for those plastic cases that come with the 3M Super88 e-tape. We have about 20 countryman B6's and I'm not a fan of the pouches that Countryman sends. The pouches are great for transmitters, not so much for the elements. I know I could just buy the tape, but my boss would have a conniption if I asked for 20 rolls of e-tape specifically for the storage boxes.

If you've got a bunch of micro lav elements, what are you using to store them?

Is this for a venue or a traveling work box? If the former, we store each mic with its pack in a clear plastic shoe stowage thingie that I got at Meijer or WallyWorld.

How about the plastic "folder" that bass guitar stings come in? I have also seen a variation of the CD/DVD "wallet" from DPA but can't find it on their accessories web page.

I'll be honest, I have no clue what those look like. Do you have a picture or link?

How about a leader/fly wallet from a tackle store?
......
I have some saltwater fly bags that are similar ziplock in a binder, but are bigger than a leader wallet. I am sure the local tackle store is cheaper than the same idea resold through a microphone company.

I like the idea there Jay. I might have to look into it. My worry would be the size of the connector prohibiting closing the wallet.

But I'm still wondering, has anyone found those cases for the tape sold on their own anywhere? They are so useful, I'm shocked to not find them more easily.

Hi Eric-

No pic, but I've seen/handled them backstage on theatre tours. I was surprised that DPA didn't show them on their website. Perhaps these are bonus if you buy a dozen or so...

I like Jay's idea, too, and it's very similar to what I've seen.
