That said, anybody using it on live gigs ought to have Cat IV, since I'm sure at some point you're going to need to meter a gennie.FWIW, the clamp meter in my gig bag is an Ideal, and it's Cat IV. The Ideal on my home office bench, like the Fluke 117 on my shop bench, is only Cat III.
