I was involved with the installation one of thes with 2 vnet subs in a local church recently, and I thought I'd write up a bit about what turned out to be a very easy install and one that everyone involved with is very happy about.
The Vq series are Tannoys big point source box ( more info at www.Tannoy.com) it comes in passive or active types and can be bought either as a complete 1 piece cab or as an exploded sytem in which you mix an match components to suit the gig. We fitted the VQ net100 along with 2 of the 18DR subs after a bit of playing with the GPA software , we only used 2 of the subs because there was some concern over bass carrying though to the neighbouring houses. the room was/is an almost perfect fit for this speaker and the church people didn't mind a big box hanging from a truss structure so we did have it easy that way.
Flying the main box was simple despite its weight, it uses a serrated edge on the pick points so that to get your angle you slot the supplied shackle into the correct slot and serration which you read from a chart in the manual, and lift and that's it then it's a cat5 cable for the remote control a signal cable and power and off you go. The power amps insde are controlled remotely by RS485 through a usb adaptor and the software is pretty easy to use, they also use very little power as the speaker is so efficient. We had the main box turned down 6db or so to allow the subs to keep up and one or 2 tiny cuts mainly for the room and that was it. The coverage is pretty much as it says, it has a very clear almost but not quite bright sound, in an ideal world more subs should have been there but noise and space issues curtailed that, however I think it's a great system and well worth a look especially if you can use the component systems to customize it especially to add some low mid in bigger rooms. The portable speakers sound good as well, though they are pretty heavy and really need the extra low mid or single 15 box in bigger rooms or when going full tilt. However being able to control each part of the rig on it's own does attract especially for some of the old echo chambers that pass as venues I end up in G
