Teleconferencing processor more sophisticated than ClearOne Interact Pro

I'm looking for a processor that has tele-conferencing features similar to ClearOne Interact Pro, but is a little more sophisticated. Specifically I'm looking for the capability to selectively mute different inputs, and the capacity to support more than 8 mic inputs. For example, we would like to be able to use 8 table mics and two wireless handheld mics, such that the handheld mics have gating functionality similar to the table mics (i.e., preference for the loudest source), and the option to mute the table mics and use just the handheld mics. According to my latest information, the Interact Pro cannot be programmed to selectively mute.

Does ClearOne make a product that matches this description or should I consider different manufacturers? I would like to avoid a major price jump if possible. Thanks!

Most of the current crop of DSP processors have some sort of POTS telco integration. Some also have VoIP as well. Look down the lines of Biamp, BSS, and Qsys, and probably most of the other standard players as well. These are all free-wire DSP programs so your functionality will most likely be limited to your imagination.

David, we already have an open architecture DSP in the room, but the ClearOne system is being used because it comes with a wireless dialer unit. Our DSP has the AEC functionality, but it doesn't have enough inputs either, so I'm looking for another conferencing-centric system. It doesn't have to be open architecture.

If your DSP has AEC, then why not just expand it, or add any other DSP with automixing capabilities?
many DSPs (Q-Sys, Symetrix, Lectrosonics) can be controlled from an iphone or ipad with very little programming. Something as simple as dialing the phone and muting inputs is entry-level stuff for any real DSP

Symetrix's Radius AEC would be a good solution, but the "advantage" of the Clearone is that it's not a fully-featured DSP. All we need is the AEC functionality. Also it has this nifty proprietary tabletop dialer.

If you want to keep the Clearone then use your open architecture DSP to do all of your muting/automixing/routing, then send the mixed signal to the Clearone..

The ClearOne Converge Pro product line will probably work best for us, though the vendor says they're coming up with their own solution. The DSP we have now doesn't have enough inputs, and the ones it has don't handle AEC.

My bad.. if you had a DSP like Lectrosonics you can implement a global AEC and mix in as many inputs as you want. I forgot that other brands want to do the hard work on every individual input
