Backing off a little will clear it up, at the expense of more background noise, but I would take clarity over S/N ratio any day. It is the whole package really. Not any one mic is going to sound good with every person that uses it. I would go on to say that a mic from the 99cent store would sound good on someone? It's just not likely your ever going to find that someone who will use it : )</blockquote>
