Just wire the shield (S) to the ground...Now, the proud owner ow a wall wart powered mixer can actually use our gear, provided that he patch the 'hole' you provide and any unused TS or TRS on his mixer ... thus grounding the shitty crap...I have a TS to edison (Schuko) adapter fot this exact purpose.(Edit : clarification : In order to drive ADRaudio equipment without hum, the peace of gear that is driving it MUST be grounded .... there are exceptions, of course, right, Lang ?)
