[QUOTE="Tim Duffin, post: 64418, member: 400"] Re: Tim Duffin Spinoff: Online Forums are Worthless (Was: Carvin Line Array In Stock) My original point was deleted, along with some very interesting information I posted about chinese manufacturing and off brand speakers. Obviously this forum must to delete posts which threaten advertising revenue--another reason I think forums are useless. And by the way, a long time ago on another forum, I made huge disparaging remarks about this line array I hated which was manufactured by Bassmaxx. It turns out that even though I was right; every single time I have heard that line array, it sounded like the biggest pile of barely slapped together, un-engineered, worthless crap I have ever heard in my life, the people who defended the manufacturer were those who profited from Bassmaxx advertisement on their websites or got Bassmaxx speakers at a discount. Everyone knows the system sucks, but their voices are muted because they have been paid to not say anything-- or my favorite trick: "hiring" well known audio guys for "system tuning" in exchange for favorable industry reviews...
