Re: Tim Duffin Spinoff: Online Forums are Worthless (Was: Carvin Line Array In Stock) Ok Tim, time for me to feed the troll. First off I pretty much always enjoy reading your posts. I don't necessarily share your perspective most of the time but your comments are always well written and from an educated and experienced point of view. Sometimes it makes me go "Hmmmmmm, I never thought of that" and other times it just makes me wonder who relieved themself in your cereal. Either way there is value for me if nothing more than entertainment alone but it usually makes me think for a moment. That being said everyone always gets what they are looking for in a forum or they don't stick around. I am sure you get what you are looking for, even if it is not insightful information or you would be gone as well. What is insightful information? I personally have given some good advice, gotten some good advice, and been corrected on some bad advice I gave (which falls under the gotten some good advice catagory also). I learned and actually understand why I blew up 2 amps when I connected them to house power with an open neutral. I have bought, sold, traded, and rented gear with several members I only know from this forum. I have reconnected with a friend I had lost touch with for years here. All of this is insightful information to me, but then again that is what I look for when I come here. -Eric
