Re: Too Old?You don't actually process the VCA voltage, you use the resulting signal from an external process to control the voltage going back into the board to control the buses. Like side chain control, which works along the exact same principle. If you have a compressor with a side chain signal with compatible voltage, you can feed that into the vca input on the desk and do wonderful things. Not that such a thing would make the UPAs any younger and a better match for the Qs the kid probably wantet, just to stir the pot a bit :razz:
