I suspect your cables are at fault - I use Neutrik connectors without issue. For the record, I have not bought a ton of Behringer gear in my lifetime, but NONE of the stuff I have bought personally has ever failed. I say this right now having a couple thousand $ worth of dead DI's and microphones from other "pro" companies sitting on my desk. IMHO if a low priced Behringer piece fits the budget and is appropriate for the situation, it is no more likely to fail than any other similarly competitive product.
