So virtual soundcheck is easy as pie with the X32. I don’t have a S-16, but it seems, that you can hook up two X32 to one set of S-16s. One desk is master, the other one slave. But they don’t feature a gain compensation. To be honest, even most high profile desk don’t have this feature (just the Midas Pro Series do have two MicPres per Channel). So you have to trust your "soundmix mate" for setting the gains right, or use a normal analogue splitter on stage. This is most common, especially in a festival situation. The good thing is, that you can hook up the X32 monitor desk directly to the splitter by usesing the local inputs on the X32.
