This would probably require removing the mixer functionality from the firmware to free up space/dsp processing power for crossover functionality like on the matrixbusses of the X32. Hmm, up to 32 inputs, at least 24 (matrixbus-)outputs, all digital on 2 AES50 ports in only 1U. I hope my guess is close to what Behringer is developing...
