Next year Fighting Sioux..... Arg... every time. we kill the WCHA and then final four fail.

Funny story about that... right now the school is legally not allowed by the state to change the name because they passed a law stating that the university's official sports name is the Fighting sioux.
So now they're going into talks with the NCAA to figure it out... Me personally I could care less. But the whole thing is hillarious. the chippewea started the huge fuss over the sioux name, and are still causing plenty of noise. so its interesting at times.

Dartmouth had similar problems and gave up on it. Where is the advocacy group for animals as mascots? Seems like a lot of self important posturing to me... the Sioux were tremendous warriors and should be proud of it.
