Using a Soundcraft SI6 Tonight

Hey folks,

I am at the venue now waiting for gear to get here. I am mixing FOH tonight on a Soundcraft Vi6 tonight, I have poked around on this desk and I like the workflow from what I can tell, but I have NOT had enough to know what it can really do or how everything works. Is there anything to watch out for? Any Tips or tricks?


I have downloaded to offline editor as well as the manual so I am flipping through them now. From the offline editor looks like a very easy workflow...

The Vi's are about as straight forward, intuitive and easy to use as a digital work surface can get. An extra bonus is that they sound really good. I predict you will be totally at home and feel like an old hand in about 10 minutes. Let us know how it goes.

All is gong well, shows starts in 40 mins. Easy peasy. I really like this console a lot, probably my favorite digital board so far.
