V&A scraps Napalm Death gig for fear decibel levels will damage the Ming vases - London - News - London Evening Standard

Back when "loud" was difficult to achieve, I was frequently impressed by the effort.

Now it's just boring. Or I'm old. Or both.

I like to feel the music as much as more than most folks. But I don't see the point to stupid loud.

Funny how the Press think that the sound of a known loud band comes from the actual band itself.
They probably aren't that "loud" without their PA, and I doubt one big enough...

that the volume of their gigs is so high that fans are sometimes physically sick

could actually fit in said "sculpture" along with the band itself
