The Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco will be closing at the end of this year. This home to bands heading up or on the way down and holding will give way to another trendy hipster bar, without live music, serving designer drinks.
Many of my sound guy and gal associates have worked there for years. They will be missed as a venue BUT most of all I will miss their signs.
I would often get a much needed chuckle while stuck in traffic on Polk Street when I would see something like this one.
Actually the service was generally far from crappy but it "makes" the joke ;-)
