I'm the founder and leader of Mattel's very own all-employee band, The Toys, and we've had many different variations over the past 19 years. This year, we competed with a new lineup and made again it to the Finals of the FORTUNE Magazine Battle of the Corporate Bands (i.e. Don't quit your day job) and will be rocking out Saturday, September 6th at 7:50pm EST, at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum in Cleveland, OH. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is live webstreaming the entire show starting at 7:30pm EST on www.rockhall.com. We're on first at 7:50pm EST and only play for 15 minutes (not a second longer, or we're out). Are we the greatest? Definitely not, but we have a lot of fun and out of 9 members, 7 of us sing. We're up against 7 other corporate bands, and we can't wait.

If you want, you can also "like" The Toys on our band Facebook page, where we'll be posting pictures and videos of the event and fun things leading up to it. We're at www.facebook.com/thetoysband and also on Instagram as #thetoysband.

Wish me luck in 5 days!

Regards,
Ned
