But what I was suggesting is buying one of the ip65> ip65 extension cables and hacking the "male" end off and replacing it with an Edison to plug into the power source in a dry location, them take the female ip65 connector to the first fixture and daisy chain them all with the ip65's. That might be a good start for a google search. I think they use a smaller 2 pole version for rope lights.
