Are you talking about a cheap fiber type roadcase with strap handles or a good plywood one with a doghouse? Or something inbetween?
The weight of the LS9 is easy (12Kg)-but the case could weigh as the console-or not.
I need the approiximate shipping weight for a ls9-16 in a roadcase. Anybody?

I've seen LS9-16 road cases that weigh 40 pounds more than the case I use.
Weigh your road case, add 26 pounds for the LS9-16, and add 20 to 25 pounds for packing.
(assumes you are shipping the board inside the road case)

I am thinking about a regular plywood road case, with a doghouse. I've already found a lightweight option, but would like something more sturdy. My problem is a 20kg weight limit

If weight is an issue I would look at getting a Pelican. My DM1k travels in a 1660 which doesn't add too much weight. I think an LS9-16 might fit in something smaller since I don't think it is quiet as large as a DM1k with meterbridge.
