I have 2 Yamaha C115V Club Series mains (8 ohms each) and 2 Yamaha CM15V Club Series monitors (8 ohms each). Each are rated at 250w noise, 500w program, 1000w max. I will be running the mains parallel (4 ohms) through channel 1 and the monitors parallel (4 ohms) through channel 2 of a power amp. What size power amp do I need to operate this speaker setup safely and efficiently? I'm thinking a QSC GX7 (1000 watts per side at 4 ohms, or should I go with the GX8 at 1200 watts per side at 4 ohms?
