Zero 7- Home . . . Within the first few bars of this song, I can usually get a pretty good idea of how the night is going to go... I also usually stick it on as walk-out too at the end of the night. I get at least 1 person per gig, asking who the band is and what the album is called... they are a phenomenal live group.
Miles Davis & Coltrane- Stairway to the Stars
Jeff Buckley - Lover, you should've come over . . . great drums & guitars when they come in. . . not to mention the vocals!!! Around the 2 minute mark is where it gets fun.
If I'm just having fun after those, I'll go right to the Huey Lewis & the News... Power of Love from their newest Live album... it's a thick arrangement with a lot of stuff happening gives me an idea of what the horns are going to do in the system / room.
