It's nothing nearly on your level, I typically work in the box, outside of using some simple automation/transport controllers. I worked on one album which went Gold (in Canada though, so smaller sales numbers obviously). But not with anyone you've actually heard of. I do most of my recording work during the fall and winter when the live stuff slows down. I look at it as a nice break and enjoy being involved in both ''camps''.
Using Protools 9 (Native), Focusrite front end stuff, waves plugs. Using JBL LSR4328P's for monitors (the ones that come with measurement mic and onboard DSP. Those are surprisingly excellent. A mish-mash of various very good but not elite level mics, mostly out of Rode, A/T, Heil, and Shure KSM lines.
